Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Must be available to work Monday to Sunday shifts across two sites - Glengarry Private Hospital and Attadale Private Hospital.
In the role of Patient Administration Officer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a comprehensive and customer-focused service across all Front Office functions, with a particular emphasis on administrative tasks related admissions.
YOUR DUTIES WILL ENCOMPASS BUT ARE NOT RESTRICTED TO:
- Patient admissions
- Processing all booking requests from VMOs or patients and reviewing theatre lists as needed.
- Thoroughly checking all received paperwork and initiating follow-up actions as necessary, ensuring patients possess the appropriate level of health fund coverage.
- Proactively reaching out to patients to schedule appointments in a timely manner.
- Processing admissions accurately in the relevant system, such a Meditech.
- Ensuring the successful implementation and consistent adherence to standard policies, processes and documentation within the Revenue Cycle.
