Description:

We have a part-time vacancy for an Administration Clerk/Receptionist post to support our busy Office/Reception within the Haematology Day Unit.
We wish to appoint an experienced and well organised individual, with good IT skill who can demonstration their ability to following instruction, but also work independently when required. You will have good all round administration skills, good basic numeracy and literacy skills, organisational / prioritisation skills, attention to detail and a willingness to be trained and work as part of a team.
Under the direct supervision of the Team Lead, this post is responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative service and reception desk service within the Haematology Day Unit in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
Attention to detail is essential. You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software with the ability to pick up computer processes / systems quickly.
The ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm is essential, as well as the ability to work as part of a team and have excellent communication skills. A flexible and co-operative approach is essential.
You will be an integral member of the Haematology Team and will liaise with staff at all levels. In return we will provide you with excellent training and opportunities to develop your skills.
