Description:
An engaging opportunity to work as part of a welcoming, friendly and equitable team in a supportive environment based in the Breast unit at City Hospital.
We are looking to recruit a reliable, enthusiastic and proactive Clerical Officer to work as part of the breast team.
The post holder will work under the direction of the Deputy Operations Manager to deliver the screening programme, ensuring that targets are met and to support our forward thinking Breast Care Team.
The post holder will require a high standard of English language, as well as experience of working in a clerical environment.
The post is full time – 37.5 hrs however the role may require some flexibility to support Service needs.

Provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support for the Breast Screening Service in accordance with Departmental, Trust and National standards, policies and procedures.
Provide appropriate advice and guidance to clients, to allow them to make an informed choice regarding their attendance for breast screening.
This role will require effective time management to prioritise workload to meet the ever-changing demands of the Screening Office. It is essential to be able to be a team worker as well as have the ability to work independently using your own initiative, to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and to deal with constant interruptions reacting to issues as they arise.
Working within a large multi-disciplinary team requires liaising with team members at all levels maintaining professionalism at all times to ensure high levels of knowledge and a high standard of work practice.
