Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Reporting to the Director of Accounts, the Client Account Manager is responsible for the identification, sales, education, and execution of the customers’ current and future needs.
- Direct the application of technologies, trends, best practices, and service offerings incorporating them into overall business solutions. Leverage partnerships to offer value to the customer. Build market image of corporation as a premiere services firm.
- Provide significant industry expertise and client business acumen. Sell higher level services to the customer, enabling competitive advantage for them in the marketplace. Provide thought leadership and capitalizes on cumulative industry, product, and company-specific experiences. Capture best practices and directs and facilitates the management and movement of information.
- Empower project team members and colleagues to think holistically about reliable and cost-effective data center solutions, expand their thinking, and strive to do what’s right in the big picture. Be a central contributor to Silent-Aire’s global data center approach for data centers and power distribution.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
- Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction by maintaining strong working relationships.
- Educate and provide solutions to ensure the smooth operation of customer’s equipment.
- Guide and lead team members to deliver products/services that exceed the customer requirements.
- Manage client issues throughout the implementation life cycle in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Manage and train resources to ensure quality and consistency of service to customers.
- Schedule and conduct status meetings with appropriate development resources and customers.
- Assist sales team in client business acquisitions, planning, retention, and management.
- Maintain complete and accurate customer correspondence data.
- Develop and update client related reports.
- Manage client relationships to build a reputation for excellent service and generate repeat business.
- Negotiate and manage agreements through business contract process as required.
- Create online videos, training guides, FAQs, Webex training sessions to benefit all customers.
- Identify and develop problem solving methodologies to resolve customer issues.
- Research and analyze new ideas for improving legacy data centers. Identify options and alternative approaches. Develop a framework for evaluating and tracking alternatives that considers all facets of design decision making.
- Meet with customers to develop programs that improve the quality of our products and services.
- Lead implementation of data center projects, which will involve building cross-functional teams of mechanical, electrical, architectural and build engineers. Develop project plans, track milestone progress, and report status.
- Develop financial analyses that support the business case for moving forward with projects.
