What you bring to the table
The Beck Client Development Analyst is a leadership and management position that requires working closely with the sector practice leaders to elevate our marketing process and responsiveness.
Market Leader Support
The Beck Client Development Analyst shares many aspects of managing leads, marketing efforts, conferences/events and professional networks alongside the sector practice and market leaders.

Help identify and track potential leads:

  • Intelligence – research clients and potential leads for each practice

Prioritize & manage marketing efforts:

  • Set meetings with potential clients and help prepare presentations
  • Determine time & effort for each marketing effort
  • Maintain client contact schedules

Identify and coordinate key industry conferences and events:

  • Help develop content for events
  • Look for speaking opportunities
  • Gather intelligence on attendees and schedule meetings
  • Create follow-up plans

Build and maintain professional network:

  • Develop key industry “feeder” contacts

Work with communications team to increase “push” marketing:

  • Targeted media stories with local and national publications
  • Track client milestones
  • Funnel stories to prospects
  • Work with marketing group on potential news media stories

Client Development Support
The Beck Client Development Analyst will focus on organizing, targeting and facilitating meetings with our current and future clients.

Manage client development and prospects on CRM:

  • Update and liaise with marketing
  • Work with marketing and market leaders to keep CRM current

Prepare targeted client development briefs focused on current prospect needs:

  • Coordinate with marketing to focus on relevant prospects

Facilitate meetings with potential clients:

  • Set up meetings with potential clients
  • Create executive summaries after meetings and follow up
  • Analysis of top companies/competition in all regional markets relevant to the meeting

Assist with client and prospect strategy:

  • Organize internal “content” charrettes
  • Filter, assess, and compile findings

Prospect Support (With Marketing)

Manage Prospects:

  • Create, and execute prospect plans for smaller studies
  • Set up prospect numbers and help transition to Projects

Help develop proposals and write letters:

  • Prepare marketing proposals and coordinate with marketing
  • Coordinate with project managers, marketing specialists and others to outline and begin the proposal process once the need for a proposal is identified.

Who we think will be a great fit

  • College graduate
  • 5-7 years of lobbying, sales, marketing experience
  • MS suite proficient, particularly PPT

Physical Demands:
Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment; frequently lift and move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and move up to fifty pounds; constantly communicates with project and operations teams, Beck employees, and external vendors; ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance.
