Responsibilities:

SUPERVISOR ROLE:

  • Lead Team Meetings and Information sessions as required by the service manager.
  • Facilitate the review and practice of organisational policy and procedure with the client development team as appropriate.
  • Project manage specific pieces of work on behalf of the client development manager to contribute to the overall continuous improvement of the service.
  • Support the team and service manager in the implementation of quality standards in managing the client development team.
  • Provide supervision for CE participants and volunteers working with the client development team.
  • Support the team and service manager to address any health and safety concerns which arise.

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE:

  • A recognised third level qualification to at least degree level in: Community Development, Education, Adult Education, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Care, Project Management, Personal Development programmes the Arts or a related discipline
  • Experience of working with disadvantaged groups, with project development and on of stakeholder relationships
  • Can communicate effectively with a wide range of people including clients, staff, external agencies, donors and general public
  • Good active listening, assessment, engagement and feedback skills
  • Good record keeping, letter and report writing skills incorporating plain English guidelines
  • Good working knowledge of search engines and MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher.
