Primary Purpose & Scope:
As a Client Director for the Adria region (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, and Cyprus) based in Düsseldorf, you will hold a pivotal role within our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing tailored marketing and loyalty concepts, analyzing client potentials, strategies, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering compelling business cases that justify retailer investment in TCC’s solutions and ensuring clients are well-informed about our range of offerings. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations to collaborate with them to develop new sales strategies based on client briefings, shopper insights, and needs. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in selling and closing profitable deals, as well as drafting contracts and orchestrating TCC resources for successful finalization.

Previous experience, minimum of 10 years as a Senior Sales, Marketing Manager or Key Account Manager, together with:

  • Experience with the region’s food retail market/s.
  • Experience in selling the service/mentality of a service provider with strong client orientation.
  • Experience in complex sales that usually imply the development of a tailor-made project.
  • Deep understanding of retail marketing.
  • Business development mindset.
  • Competitive mindset with the desire to win.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Diplomatic negotiation skills/ability to convince and get results and close sales.
  • Able to establish and maintain relationships (internal/ external) with key decision-makers.
  • Fluent in English and German (communication/selling/negotiating) Is a must.
  • Fluent in Greek is a big plus.
  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative strategies to grow presence in the existing channels in cooperation with the Head of Sales.
  • Develop and implement new sales strategies and plans by designing new types of campaigns in cooperation with the Head of Sales and orchestrating related functions (Marketing/Campaign, Research, Business Development, etc.).
  • Target new clients to grow the business and identify future business opportunities (clients/ channels) in the Adriatic and Ionian Region (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece and Cyprus).
  • Cooperate and communicate with national clients and present new business strategies as well as existing projects and campaigns.
  • Analyse and win potential clients and develop concepts based on their needs.
  • Develop strong customer relationships and close long-term deals.
  • Take responsibility for profit and loss.
