About This Opportunity
The Client Engagement Officer is responsible for performing day-to-day administrative duties within the Graduate Management Discipline (GMD)—Executive Education and MBA—portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the first contact point for the discipline for all incoming communications, including; phone, email, CRM, live chat, webforms and call-backs
  • Provide general advice on the MBA program and triage communications and
  • correspondence to appropriate team members and other colleagues or departments within the UQ community
  • Assist with administration of all MBA courses and activities as directed. These duties may include facilitator liaison, venue liaison, preparation of course materials and other tasks of an administrative nature
  • Build relationships with UQ students, staff and clients that regularly return for GMD programs and courses, providing a superior level of service
  • Attend and participate in MBA related marketing events and information evenings outside of standard business hours, as directed
  • Perform other duties and administrative tasks in support of the MBA program and team as required.

This is a full-time fixed-term position through to April 2025.
At HEW level 4, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $71,640.06 - $75,957.51 plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $83,818.87 - $88,870.29 annually. As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.

About You

  • Completion of a diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement, and a commitment to service excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and meet deadlines, while working in a high performing team, to successfully achieve business outcomes
  • High-level communication skills including effective listening, the ability to develop rapport with stakeholders including students, academics and industry partners
  • Experience managing client and colleague expectations within a policy driven environment.
