JOB SUMMARY

As a Enterprise Client Executive (ECE), you will be responsible for leading the sales activity in a set of existing and new customers to achieve assigned sales quota. You will lead the collaboration and coordination of all sales and pre-sales roles associated with the account to develop and grow the NetApp business in the account. The ECE serves as a trusted advisor to the customer’s senior leadership and uses business acumen and technical expertise to maximize revenue from the account.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong sales mentality with a sense for sales opportunities and the ability to explore them together with the customer in a visionary way and thus leverage their growth potential.
  • Deep understanding of customer goals and ability to demonstrate NetApp value to clients/prospects.
  • Good understanding and Ability to speak credibly on a variety of modern computing, storage, and cloud technologies/concepts.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Proven and consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving net new business.
  • Highly structured and disciplined with the ability to coordinate and lead multiple concurrent selling efforts by NetApp sales specialists and partners
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 5 years of applicable Sales experience as a minimum requirement
  • Storage industry experience is helpful, at least a high level of interest and affinity for IT is a basic requirement

Responsibilities:

  • Create relationship maps and plans to expand depth and quality of relationships with buyers, influencers, and decision makers within allocated Enterprise Accounts.
  • Develop account plans for every allocated Enterprise Account and work with assigned Account Technology Specialists to enroll a long-term product strategy for new and existing NetApp product lines.
  • Lead and coordinate the end-to-end sales cycle including pipeline generation, qualification, solution design, pricing and quoting, deal/contract negotiation and closing.
  • Act as a sales orchestrator, pulling in the right experts and/or members of our senior leadership team, at the right place and right time.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent sales motions (some owned by specialist sellers or even other sales roles) to ensure a customer-centric approach, while not inhibiting other sellers or specialists from hunting for opportunities.
  • Create and maintain strong relationship to NetApp partner landscape and lead partner co-selling efforts in the account.
