Responsibilities:

  • To manage a portfolio of locally based clients and ensure the provision of the highest quality outsourced finance function.
  • Maintaining excellent relations with clients, acting as the main point of contact, responding effectively to any queries in an advisory manner and resolving any issues.
  • Inspire, lead and coach the team to delivery excellent levels of client service, receive positive client feedback and minimise client complaints to zero.
  • Review the work produced by the team on a monthly/quarterly basis and ensure it is of the highest quality and that learning points for the team are actioned.
  • Drive gross margin profitability through streamlining and enhancement of processes on an on-going basis.
  • Reviewing and monitoring team timesheets to ensure they are accurate and reasonable, escalating if additional resources are required and reallocating work if needed.
  • Leading and controlling a regular programme of billing, recoverability, contract reviews and fee negotiations.
  • Supporting with business development activities and actively contributing to proposals.
  • Work with other departments (e.g. tax, audit, corporate finance and MFP) to ensure all of Mazars’ services are strongly coordinated and selling opportunities identified.
  • Contribute to the wider National AOS initiatives and projects (people engagement, technology or quality).
