Description:

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and business development roles, with a proven track record of success in acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong network of connections at the C-level within target industries, particularly in the Quebec region and the defense sector in Ottawa.
  • Experience shaping proactive proposals and aligning business outcomes to drive value for clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven individual with a strategic mindset and a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to acquire new clients and expand market share in the Quebec region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, procurement professionals, and other key stakeholders within target organizations in the Utilities, Aerospace, and Defense markets.
  • Take a proactive approach to customer engagement, bypassing procurement when necessary to establish direct connections with business units and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to shape proactive proposals that align with client needs and demonstrate the value of our solutions in achieving business outcomes.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, managing all aspects of the sales cycle and ensuring a seamless transition to delivery teams.
  • Leverage your sales and business development experience to effectively position our offerings, overcome objections, and negotiate favorable terms and agreements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and drive continuous improvement in our approach to customer engagement.
