Unio specialises in private wealth management and employee benefit consultancy and has over 30 years’ experience advising companies and personal investors.
With offices in Dublin, Cork and Limerick, Unio has €14 billion in assets under administration and advice. We advise more than 10,000 private clients in relation to wealth management.
A key component within Unio’s Wealth Management division is focused client engagement including delivery of a unique outcome based proposition to existing and prospective clients. This is delivered through the wealth management advisory team and supported by the client service function. The Wealth management team develop insightful thought leadership content and will lead and refine the capability of the wealth management advisory team.
In addition, this Division will develop a deep understanding of what drives client values, opportunities for growth, emerging disruptions, and value based pricing and proposition activities.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • QFA Certified or hold an equivalent qualification which satisfies the Minimum Competency Requirements of the Central Bank of Ireland
  • Minimum of 2/3 years’ experience in a personal financial services (or wealth management) role or a paraplanner in an Insurance Broker or Financial Planning firm is essential
  • Excellent numerical ability and a very keen attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to concise and excellent standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build a trusting relationship with clients (business owners, senior executives, self-employed and employees)
  • Demonstrate strong organisational, scheduling and capacity management ability
  • A keen interest in all matters relating to Financial Services
  • Have strong knowledge of the products available in the Irish market to address personal, family and business protection and pre- and post-retirement planning needs.

ROLE:

We are looking to recruit Client Relationship Managers to join a growing and dynamic team and be part of a business at the leading edge of Wealth Management in Ireland. Focused on client delivery, the Private Wealth Management team can be described as energetic, collaborative and innovative.
The Client Relationship Manager role will require a self-motivated and driven individual who is capable of working on their own initiative and who wishes their performance and reward to be measured on their standard of client relationships and service excellence.
The role can be based in our Dublin, Cork or Limerick office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the guidance of a Senior Private Client Adviser(s), you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and servicing commercially successful relationships with new and existing clients
  • Communicating reviews and analysis of these to a specified portfolio of clients
  • Identifying opportunities for enhanced life, pension and investment solutions for this client portfolio
  • Handling new referrals and leads that come to the business from various sources
  • Developing own network to generate new business opportunities for the business.
