  • Salary ranging from $70,694 pa to $76,857 pa + super and leave loading

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

Victims Services, within the Department of Communities and Justice, administers the Victims’ Rights and Support Act 2013. We provide access to counselling and financial assistance to victims of violent crime in NSW under the Victims Support Scheme, promote the Charter of Victims’ Rights and deliver related programs.
The Client Service Representative registers applications for victims support. The position examines the application and supporting documents prior to accepting and registering applications for victims support.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Review the application to ensure all required information and documents have been provided
  • Review evidence such as medical and government reports outlining the act of violence and its impact
  • Show resilience and composure in stressful situations
  • Have excellent keyboard/computer skills to navigate our system, review information and respond promptly to customers.
