DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Client Services and Application Specialist, with an emphasis on client relationship management. This role involves managing the client journey, providing exceptional support to clients, and maintaining our education and career guidance database. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working with teenagers and young adults. Flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the client journey from initial inquiry through application submission and beyond.
- Coordinate meetings and bookings, ensuring efficient scheduling and timely follow-up.
- Manage email correspondence with parents and students, providing timely and personalized responses.
- Create resource materials to support clients throughout the application process.
- Utilize technology to manage client data, applications, and communications effectively.
- Provide consultant support, offering guidance and assistance to clients as needed.
- Maintain and update resource databases with accurate and current information.
- Communicate effectively with teenagers and young adults, demonstrating respect and appreciation for their perspectives.
- Adapt to flexible hours and virtual work environments, with occasional travel as needed.
- Work independently to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve goals effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, communications, education).
- 3-5 years of professional work experience in a client services or administrative role.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all ages.
- Proficiency in editing and proofreading, with demonstrated experience in maintaining high-quality documentation.
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools preferred.
- Ability to adapt to flexible work hours and virtual work environments.
- Comfortable with occasional travel for meetings, trainings, or client engagements.
- Genuine appreciation and respect for teenagers and young adults and their unique needs and perspectives.
- Experience managing client relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
