ROLE OVERVIEW

Manufacture 2030 (M2030) works to decarbonise supply chains, primarily through our software service, the M2030 Platform. We engage with both buyers (eg Toyota and Tesco) and suppliers (such as Toyota’s engine manufacturers or Tesco’s dairy farms). The Climate Action Team (CAT) is the supplier-facing side of our Customer Team, and this role puts you at the heart of CAT.
As a Customer Impact specialist within CAT, you will be particularly involved in the later stage of suppliers’ engagement with Manufacture 2030, including helping them to decarbonise at scale, monitoring and analysing data, managing customer and partner relationships, and overseeing licence renewals.
You’ll develop a thorough understanding of our products, hone your customer-facing skills, and have the opportunity to work on and specialise in a variety of other projects as our team continues to evolve. Other projects can include transforming the way our team operates internally, helping the team to gain sustainability knowledge, and streamlining the support we provide to suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand suppliers’ challenges and pain points and pass these on to the Product team (and Customer team colleagues) to assist product, comms, and service development.
  • Explain our product clearly while effectively communicating the company vision and value proposition: reducing carbon emissions in global manufacturing. This includes drafting and delivering compelling and easy-to-understand product demonstrations and training sessions to supplier clients, as well as guides, online videos, and emails.
  • Be ready to pitch in and deal with large volumes of supplier calls and emails from time to time.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders in M2030 on team- and company-wide projects, including transformation projects, and be ready to develop a specialisation in the process.
  • Support and lead projects to encourage supply chain carbon reduction, including webinars, articles, newsletters, and partnerships.
