YOU’LL HAVE…

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or similar.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar climate (preferred) or Mechanical or Thermo-dynamic systems role
• Holistic understanding of bring a concept from design to delivery

WHAT YOU’LL DO…

You will be working within the Climate Team as a Design and Release Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for climate commodity design and release from concept through to production to achieve key program milestones and maintaining quality.
This role will be based primarily at our Head Office in Broadmeadows with occasional travel across our multiple Melbourne and Geelong based sites. We embrace flexibility and offer hybrid working arrangements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading Climate commodity design and release from concept through to production.
• Ensuring on-time delivery of all Climate specifications and quality requirements for all program milestones and gateways
• Communicate with cross functional departments including Integration, Purchasing, Finance etc for target definition and delivery.
• Liaise with regional launch sites and lead resolution of all launch related issues.
• Liaison and management of suppliers to ensure delivery to Ford program milestones and GPDS system.
• Deliver TVM and resolve quality issues to meet climate system targets

• Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
• Responsible for Climate commodity design and release from concept through to production.
• Own responsibility of on-time delivery of all Climate specifications and requirements with quality for all program milestones and gateways
• Communicate with interfacing departments including Integration, NVH, VOME, Purchasing, Finance, MP&L, STA, CE, Other VHM’s, Core, etc for target definition and delivery.
• Liaise with regional launch sites and lead resolution of all launch related issues.
• Liaison and management of suppliers to ensure delivery to Ford program milestones and GPDS system.
• Deliver TVM to meet climate targets
• Lead resolution of Quality issues
