Description:
Clinic Management
- Manage and ensure the smooth running of the clinic in all aspects, which includes patients’ registration, chaperoning doctor, dispensing of medication, patients’ appointments and follow-ups, collection of payments, as well as taking necessary actions to improve the profitability of the clinic like cost control, promotion of products, etc;
- Manage medication, consumables and equipment including ordering, stock taking, and general housekeeping;
- Attend and resolve customer complaints, and escalate difficult cases to the Operations Department and Doctor;
- Ensure that billing of invoices and claims to corporate clients and insurance companies and follow-up is done;
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols;
- Ensure that clinic and clinic staff adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and workflows;
- Ensure compliance with local legal and professional requirements;
- Oversee performance of clinic in consultation with senior management
- Any other ad hoc tasks requested by Doctors and Operations Department;
Admin Management
- Manage rosters for Clinic Assistants and Doctors
- Manage and guide the junior clinic staff;
- Interview, select and train clinic staff;
- Ensure salary payments are made;
- Conduct staff appraisals and counseling, when required;
- Train staffin the various functions of the clinics’ operations;
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Standard First Aid (Certified)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (Certified)
- Excellent knowledge of the different types of drugs and non-drug items
- Excellent knowledge of drug dispensing (e.g. dosage, calculation, frequency, drug allergy, drug/food interactions, etc)
- Excellent knowledge of drugs administration and counseling (e.g. inhaler)
- Keep abreast of latest developments in the healthcare industry
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma holder and above
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in operation of a GP clinic in permanent or leadership role
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Able to work shifts and on weekends
- Positive, self-motivated and customer service oriented
- Responsible, careful and has high level of integrity
