JOB SUMMARY

The Department of Undergraduate Nursing in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track clinical faculty position in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program teaching at the bedside in obstetric, pediatric, and critical care practice settings.
In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Current unencumbered license to practice nursing in Texas.
• Clinical expertise to function effectively and safely in critical care, pediatric, or obstetric care areas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior BSN clinical teaching experience
• DNP or PhD

The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) is seeking a Clinical Assistant professor to work with students completing obstetric and critical care clinical experiences in our highly-ranked Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program beginning in September 2024.
Responsibilities include teaching and supervising students in the clinical setting, grading clinical assignments, evaluating student performance, and serving as a professional nursing role model. Faculty will be assigned to teach in courses commiserate with their nursing experience.
