Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised and committed nurse who is passionate about high standards of quality patient care for patients and families.
The opportunity has arisen for a position within the Pre-Registration nursing team, sitting in the wider the Practice Development Team
Working collaboratively with Lead Clinical Educator & Clinical Facilitators for Pre-Registration delivering training, education and to support the practice & professional development of all student nurses and trainee nursing associates, related to the care of patients within all Division, in accordance with national and local guidelines & ensure that they are competent & fit for purpose.
You will also work as part of the Practice Development Team to facilitate training & education to clinical staff Trust wide, ensuring that staff are competent to deliver safe and effective care.
This is an essential post for nurse education in clinical practice and a fundamental requirement of the role is consistent and effective role-modelling and leadership for nurses and other professional groups within the Division and Trust wide.
You must be a registered Nurse with a passion for nurturing and teaching, consistent strong values, be able to influence change through persistence, diplomacy and vision.

Support and assist with the facilitation of training, education and support the practice and professional development of all student nurses and trainee nursing associates
Contribute to the Trust’s Nursing and Midwifery strategic development, ensuring that quality improvement and safe practice remains integral to the learning process
In collaboration with other members of the Practice Development Team, assist in the delivery of mandatory education and training and registered practitioner induction. Development of study days and training sessions to meet gaps identified in the training needs analysis and clinical area educational frameworks.
Support the Clinical Educators to lead and facilitate audit and research.
Utilise innovative teaching styles with support of the Clinical Educators to enhance skills, optimising and standardising high levels of patient care delivery.
