Description:
A research grant funding from MPS Foundation ( The MPS Foundation ) for a two year project focusing on Patient Safety Issues in Endoscopy and developing a simulation based training. 50% clinical and 50% research post (funded through the grant at the University of Leicester) and 50% clinical (funded through KGH), at ST4+ level, starting early June 2024.
The Department of Gastroenterology at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a Clinical Research Fellow (ST3+) to join them on a fixed term basis to provide outpatient and inpatient cover in Gastroenterology. In addition, to be eligible for appointment to this role, the appointee must also be able to contract directly with the Department of Population Health Sciences at the University of Leicester for a further 0.5fte to deliver research in patient safety in endoscopy as outlined below.
Applicants must hold full registration & a license to practice with the General Medical Council and be able to work at the level expected from a ST3 trainee in gastroenterology. Applicants do not need to hold a National Training Number, or have previous experience of undertaking endoscopy procedures
