Description:

The main duties of the post are the day-to-day management of patients, wards, and out-patients. hey will have the opportunity to develop specialty skills such as management of patients with lung cancer, bronchoscopy, EBUS and management of other general respiratory conditions as well as conducting audit and evaluation. They will be expected to manage patients in general respiratory clinics under consultant supervision and have the opportunity to attend specialist clinics . There will be opportunity to be involved in research, particularly in lung cancer.
Registrars are expected to develop in-depth practice within the expectations of their skills level. The clinical fellow will undertake any other relevant duties allocated by the Consultants, which may be necessary from time to time. The clinical fellow will undertake to perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances, and to provide prospective cover for leave of other middle grade staff
