Description:
Clinical Experience These goals will be dependent on the grade and prior experience of the successful applicant: Appreciation of the implications of endovascular techniques on anaesthetic management including, but not limited to, anaesthesia in an isolated site, renal protection and contrast nephropathy, management of patients with significant comorbidities and surgery performed under regional anaesthesia. To gain exposure to a range of endovascular operations including TEVAR and REVAR. Teaching and Presentations Participation in regional trainee teaching of vascular anaesthesia. Presentation of an update lecture to the anaesthetic department.
Clinical Audit and Research The Fellow is expected to take part in clinical audit of topics pertinent to vascular anaesthesia and CPET. Timetable The exact timetable will be tailored to fit the Fellows specific interests. The Fellow will take part in the trainee on call rota, being on call for the intensive care unit, obstetrics or theatres dependent on the requirements of the department.
