Description:
The post-holder will be expected to provide supervision and support for more junior surgical trainees within his/her competence. Although the post does not have postgraduate approval for training, assessment of progression will be by regular meetings with the post educational supervisor (TBC). Continual assessment with use of PBA (procedure based assessment), attendance at educational meetings and reflective learning will be supported. A formal learning agreement will be in place for the commencement of this post.
They will be required to participate in clinical research, audit and quality improvement activity, completing at least one project during the fellowship year
