We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Clinical Health Psychologist – Long Term Conditions to join our team.
Working as part of the clinical team and supported by the Consultant Psychologist, you will manage a clinical caseload and lead the psychological service delivery as part of the multidisciplinary team within the Pain Service at Royal Berkshire Hospital and the ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust.
You will also undertake professional responsibility for Psychologists in our Long Covid and IPASS pain services and contribute to scoping options for developing services within long term conditions.
This exciting role is jointly commissioned by Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust and Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities:
THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE TO PROVIDE: -
Advice and consultation on patients’ psychological care to other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically and physically based care and treatment.
Line management and clinical supervision to both qualified and unqualified psychologists working within the team.
Lead on service delivery, service planning and care pathways

THE “MUST HAVES” FOR YOU TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE:
- Doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology.
- Experience of specialist assessment and formulation and treatment of adults in inpatient and/ or community physical health settings.
- Relevant experience of working with long term pain conditions.
- A background of liaising with clinical and management colleagues around service improvement in a relevant area.
- HCPC registration
