Description:
DESCRIPTION
- This is a hybrid position that requires on-site presence at a ministry located in Western, WA and may require associated travel within the region*
EDUCATION/COACHING:
- Ensures that workflow and training knowledge delivered is consistent with and accurately reflects current national informatics and adult learning standards.
- Communicates technology changes, upgrades, and downtimes to clinical customers.
JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations; live, via online or virtual mediums.
- Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, executive management, and other stakeholders through positive interaction and problem identification and resolution.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of the trends and changes taking place in health care.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to organize workload to ensure that timeframes are met and the work is successfully completed within deadlines.
- Working knowledge of desktop software applications (e.g., MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet, Email).
- Ability to work in a fast pace complex working environment.
- The CIS with licensure in nursing brings required comprehensive understanding of clinical process and practice standards, patient flow and operational processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or related field. Or equivalent education/experience
- 2 years in a position that has the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting.
- Experience with EHR systems.
- Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Informatics certifications or credentialing (may be equivalent for up to 2 years of experience for this position at the hiring manger’s discretion) upon hire.
