Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated registered Mental Health Nurse (clinical ) to join the team at Fendrod which is a 20 bed Treatment and Recovery Unit for Males aged between 18-65 based at Cefn Coed Hospital, Swansea. Candidates should have experience at a Band 5/6 within the field of adult Mental Health. The successful candidate will be required to have a comprehensive understanding of Male Mental Health and be passionate about delivering an exceptional level of care.
We are looking for someone who has a drive and passion for recovery focused care and can demonstrate effective leadership and change management skills.
To play a critical role within the Fendrod management team, the post holder we be expected to maintain high standards of evidence based nursing care. This will be accomplished through completing regular audits of the nursing’s paper work completed by the Band 5 nurses on the ward, having regular supervisions with the Nursing team to ensure that high standards are maintained and to ensure that the team are supporting each other. The post holder will be expected to deputise as role of Ward Manager in their absence.
