Description:

This post will suit an early career Consultant Occupational Physician with an interest/some experience of teaching who is looking to gain additional experience in Occupational Medicine in a higher educational setting. Responsibilities of the Clinical Lecturer are to contribute to developing and delivering teaching and learning materials for the Postgraduate Occupational Medicine, Occupational Health and Occupational Hygiene courses.
The courses are delivered fully online with the exception of a 4 day on campus occupational hygiene and health workshop delivered at one or two time points a year.
The Clinical Lecturer would contribute to the development and maintenance of online materials, setting of clinical and other assessments, marking and feedback on clinical and other assessments, delivering tutorials on clinical topics relevant to Occupational Medicine, lectures and practical sessions (including clinical assessments), academic advising and supervising MSs Occupational Medicine dissertation students.
In addition, the post would contribute to the overall development of curriculum and inform discussions on the strategic direction of the PGT Occupational Medicine, Hygiene and Health courses.
