This position entails providing expert clinical practice education and support to ensure the implementation of theory and research into contemporary practice for clinical staff across all programs. The role is responsible for assisting both new and existing clinical staff, including Registered Nurses and Early Parenting Practitioners (EPPs), in enhancing their level of competency. Additionally, ongoing analysis of professional development needs will be conducted to target education programs and provide relevant support to all clinical staff.
The position will assist and collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager in implementing evidence-informed, therapeutic models of care efficiently and effectively, adhering to funding requirements. It will also involve educating and supporting Registered Nurses, Early Parenting Practitioners, and/or Allied Health professionals in delivering parenting services to families, with a focus on early childhood development and parental well-being.
