Responsibilities:

The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert practitioner who, through leadership facilitates evidence based practice. The CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership. The CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes. The CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective menopause management. This role promotes a service which fosters clinical excellence in severe and complex menopause management, consultancy, research, and education which is evidence based and provided across SWSLHD. This role will provide a professional consultancy to referral site menopause service clinicians across Murrumbidgee, Western NSW and Nepean Blue Mountains LHD. This service will use digital health technologies to deliver care and education and may include travel to and facilitation of outreach models as required.
