Description:
- Permanent Part-time CNC Level 2 role, 24 hours per week.
- 1 day based at Braeside Hospital and 2 days based between Greenwich and Neringah Hospitals.

This is a permanent part-time role across our hospitals and community services in SWSLHD and NSLHD. The role is supported by vaccination nurses working across sites. Work days are flexible.
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC Level 2) is an expert practitioner who, through leadership facilitates evidence-based practice. The CNC will promote a service that fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership. The CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes.
This permanent part-time 24 hours per week role is pivotal in maintaining HammondCare’s commitment to upholding stringent infection prevention and control standards across its diverse range of healthcare facilities and services. The successful candidate will lead efforts to prevent and manage healthcare-associated infections, implement evidence-based practices, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement in infection control measures. The role will be based at Braeside Hospital for one day each week, with two days working between Greenwich and Neringah Hospitals.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, infection control practitioners, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals will be paramount, and you will be responsible for providing services that facilitate effective management of the care in the given specialty.
Responsibilities include policy development, staff education and training, surveillance, outbreak investigation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
