ABOUT US:

Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in the identification and implementation of advanced clinical evidenced-based skill and knowledge that applies to quality, patient safety and risk initiatives; and measures to facilitate continuous improvement and the implementation of NSQHSS and other standards (i.e. Aged Care Standards and Disability Standards) and relevant legislation.
- Ability to work autonomously within a quality, safety, and risk framework, and undertake preventative and management strategies to minimise or prevent clinical risk
Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the position is to provide specialist advice and support to Business Units across CQHHS on all aspects of clinical audit and quality improvement, including CQHHS Quality, Safety and Risk strategic priorities and The National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS), Aged Care Standards, Disability Standards, and other key standards.
- Assists the Director Quality and Safety for coordination of CQHHS wide activities to provide leadership to move the organisation towards a successful accreditation outcome.
- Coordinate innovation projects and service improvement initiatives, in relation to clinical audit, across CQHHS, including special projects of a clinical nature to improve service delivery.

What we offer:Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to $13,286 p.m. is comprised of:
- A salary between $64.90 - $70.47 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
