Clinical Nurse - Research (IBD clinical trials)

About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) patients and support all IBD research projects and clinical trials through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based patient focused care, education, leadership and portfolio management.
The role works primarily with an existing full time experienced Band 6 IBD research nurse, stakeholders and study participants within the Gastroenterology Procedural Service. In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations.
