Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is looking for a motivated Senior Nurse to join our District Nursing Service on a full time basis working 40 hours per week.
This is an advanced nursing practice role and is responsible for providing specialist nursing care and/or coordination of care to a specific patient/client population across healthcare settings
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work within the Community to support patients through the journey of surgery, stoma formation and after care and living with a stoma. This role will work collaboratively with other across the care continuum to provide expert advice, care co-ordination, resources and support to healthcare professionals working with stoma patients

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) and a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Specialty knowledge and practice expertise.
- Postgraduate diploma in specialty nursing practice
- Collaborates with fellow team members and work groups to achieve specific objectives.
- Develops positive relationships with the patients/clients, treating them respectfully and as a first priority.
