Clinical Oncology Research Fellow in Breast Radiotherapy

at  Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust

The fellow will work closely with other team members of the multi-disciplinary team including physicists, dosimetrists, keyworkers and undertake a service development project jointly with the physics fellow focussing on implementation of auto contouring and VMAT techniques for breast . The fellow will gain experience in advanced radiotherapy techniques including SABR, IGRT, VMAT and MR Linac. The fellow will have opportunity for some exposure to Proton Beam therapy in Head and Neck. There is an optional (not required) opportunity to gain experience in immunotherapies and chemotherapy for head and neck and non melanoma skin cancers.
The fellow will be actively involved in the recruitment and treatment planning of patients recruited into multi-centred clinical trials including SABR and Proton Beam Therapy trials
