ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join us to deliver comprehensive and quality pharmacy services at Epic Pharmacy Tennyson at Kurralta Park, SA. The role will have involvement with Clinical trials providing an exciting opportunity to further enhance your career. This is a maximum term contract until the end of August 2025, but there are often further opportunities to advance your career with us. With the support of our leaders, you will develop and gain a whole new set of skills within both medical oncology and clinical trials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Using Charm, coordinate and organise the supply of chemotherapy for the day oncology unit patients
• Perform medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
• Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
• Participate in clinical screening of chemotherapy orders
• Manufacturing and compounding of aseptic cytotoxic products and non-hazardous patient prescriptions, including the sterile cleaning process
• Coordinate and conduct staff training, both general and trial-specific
• Assist sites in developing and maintaining site standard operating procedures SOPs
• Oversee the preparation of pharmacy trial budgets and set each trial up in all IT systems as required
