Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The overall purpose of the Clinical Placement Officer is to provide coordination and provision of support for student placements across the College of Sport, Health, and Engineering. Primary responsibilities will include overseeing all pre-placement requirements for student clinical placements across college courses, coordinating, allocating and monitoring student placements in VU Work Integrated Learning and providing high level customer service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders in relation to clinical placement management.
DUTIES:
Some of the duties you are expected to perform are:
- Responsible for identifying Placement readiness, eligibility, allocation of placement and post placement processing and reporting.
- Provide professional customer service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders relating coordination and allocation of clinical placements.
- Manage day-to-day queries from students, Clinical Educators and other external stakeholders relating to placement allocations and rostering with expediency, accuracy, and professionalism, referring more complex queries to more senior staff within the Clinical Learning Office, as required.
