Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic and committed individual to join our Corporate Professional Development Team. We are looking to appoint an experienced nurse educator who will lead on the design, implementation and delivery of the Health Care Support Worker induction programme. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the recruitment, ongoing support and development of the Trainee Nursing Associates (TNA) and Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs)
The successful applicant will be required to work across both sites.
To function as a practicing professional working alongside the TNAs/HCSWs in the clinical area.
To manage the band 6 Clinical Practice Facilitator and the band 4 Clinical Practice Support.
To Co-ordinate a schedule with the band 6 and band 4 to ensure all HCSWs and TNAs are fully supported in practice
To lead on the completion of the Health Care Support Worker Care Certificate in partnership with their supervisors.
To work closely with the University of West London (UWL) in supporting TNAs in practice with their learning outcomes are achieved.
To provide support and guidance to the HCSWs and TNAs with their Career Progression and training.
To support other Clinical Practice Educators/Facilitators in delivering specific training when necessary.
To lead on the tripartite meetings in partnership with the Higher Education Institute (University of West London).
To be a point of reference for support in managing issues/concerns raised by HCSWs, TNAs, clinical staff, and the education provider.
To provide feedback to the Practice Education Lead regarding the TNA/HCSW practice needs.
To attend as required at HEI/NHSE meetings as required.
