Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Practice Educator band 6 to join our senior nursing team on The Mary Anning Unit.
The Clinical Practice Educator is a an exciting new opportunity and development for the Unit.
This opportunity will enable the successful candidate to identify the training needs of all staff at ward level.
The Mary Anning Unit cares for the medically unwell older person aiming for positive patient outcomes and acting always to optimise the care and protection of our elderly, often vulnerable clientele.
Considering the complexities of caring for the acutley unwell older person there will be specific educational requirements.
Develop a bespoke training package which can then be rolled out to build and maintain standards for all staff on the Unit.
Work with the members of the wider MDT and specialist nurses to enhance the educational programmes.
Support all staff with completion of mandatory training compliance, and ensuring that the matrix is updated.
Working with the Education team and CPE’s in other divisions to ensure deliver of the core competencies programme.
