LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU

  • Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Registered as a qualified practitioner Clinical Psychologist by the HCPC
  • Experience of delivering specialist risk and psychological assessments
  • Experience of working therapeutically with children, young people and families.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience of delivering workshops/training/group-work/reflective practice

Responsibilities:

ROLE: CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Salary: Up to £53,900 per annum pro rata depending on experience
Location: Gloucestershire
Contract/Hours: 7.4 hrs (1 day a week)
Closing: Midnight on Sunday the 17th of December 2023.

A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE

Rowan Tree House is a Forever Home in a beautiful setting in Gloucestershire, the home is for a young person with complex needs. Rowan Tree House will provide the young person who lives there with a home for life. Giving the young person stability, consistency, and appropriate, care, and support, while supporting them to integrate into the community as much as possible and achieve supported independence as they transition into adulthood.
Are you a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with experience of working with children and young people in care, care leavers or those who have experienced trauma or attachment insecurity? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new solo service from the start working alongside a passionate, creative and innovative team, to build service delivery, and pursue specialist interests.
As Clinical Psychologist you will report to the Area Manager, with a view to develop, and deliver, a specialist trauma and attachment service for the young person, whilst working closely with the team to provide clinical oversight and supervision.
