ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Bankstown Adult Community Mental Health are seeking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist to work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality individual and group-based interventions. We need a highly skilled and motivated individual who wants to make a difference to people living with enduring mental illness.
You will be working alongside several other Clinical Psychologists to deliver therapeutic interventions such as, but not limited to Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, CBT, individual trauma informed care and other dynamic evidence-based interventions.
The service currently provides a DBT program (group and individual therapy) and a Gold Card Clinic. Working within these programs would be an expected part of the role. Previous experience in and knowledge of DBT will be highly regarded.
The Clinical Psychologists accept referrals from the care coordination teams as well as the Community Mental Health Emergency Team and work in partnership with the Community Care Coordinator, where one exists, to facilitate joint care planning.
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to work on 3-4 days per week. Tuesdays are a must and other weekdays are negotiable for the right candidate.
If this sounds like the right role for you, we look forward to seeing your application!
