Clinical Psychologist

To provide specialist psychological assessment of clients referred to both the Community CAMHS and Neurodevelopmental pathway, based on the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of highly complex psychological data from a variety of sources. To formulate and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of a clients mental health problems and or neurodevelopmental needs. To undertake risk assessment and management for clients. To provide advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals and services contributing directly to clients treatment plan.
To provide a clinical psychology perspective in multi-disciplinary assessments and treatment programmes. Post assessment liaison with agencies supporting a child to ensure that assessment results are understood and well integrated into care and or education plans. To act, as case coordinator where appropriate, for the planning and review of care plans for children accessing assessment and or treatment/support. To provide advice to other professionals & agencies on psychological aspects of identified risks noted within assessment
