We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist to join our clients team. In this role, you will serve as an essential member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), collaborating closely to deliver evidence-based therapy interventions across our Education and Care Services. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being and development of young people between the ages of 6 and 18 years old.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
We offer care for children and young people who have experienced challenge and early adverse life experiences, often resulting in trauma. You will be required to use psychological models and practice to assess and offer clinical interventions to enhance the learning, cognitive, and emotional skills, and wellbeing of our young people.
KEY DUTIES:
· Psychological assessments based upon the interpretation and integration of complex psychological data from various sources including Psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales and direct/indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with the service user, family members and others involved in the child’s care, in order to develop a psychological formulation of the client’s difficulties.
· You will formulate and implement plans for individual treatment of and or management of the young people presenting difficulties.
To practice as a scientist -practitioner, using evidence base to inform your psychological understanding and practice
To assess the psychological needs of young people through clinical structured or semi structured interviews as well as psychometric testing available on site.
To provide specialist assessments of children and young people, including autism and ADHD assessments
You will liaise with members of the MDT and external professionals involved in the care of young people
To contribute to develop training packages for non-clinical staff and families.
Develop and deliver appropriate therapeutic group interventions.
You will be required to travel between sites to provide psychological services and will therefore need to be able to drive.
