Description:
Purapura Whetu are a kaupapa Māori organisation that recognise Te Tiriti o Waitangi as the founding document of this nation and therefore, guided by the tenets thereof expects that Māori consumers of Mental Health services and their whānau have the same rights to the highest standards of mātauranga mate hinengaro care as everyone else.
They are currently recruiting a Clinical Quality Manager to join their team. This role is integral to ensuring that disparities in Mental Health for Māori consumers are addressed. In this role, the Clinical Quality manager is responsible for delivering clinical leadership and excellence. You will be a self-starter, passionate about improving the lives and well-being of our whaiora, their whānau, and committed to implementing our Whaia te iti Kahurangi model.
The Clinical Quality Manager role:
- Lead and empower the clinical team to deliver safe, appropriate, and holistic care in an environment of continuous improvement
- Manage and report on clinical risk as it emerges and respond appropriately to deliver positive outcomes
- Foster culture which supports the Purapura Whetu vision, mission, and values.
- Ensure all standards, policies and procedures are adhered to, meet contractual and legislative requirements and reflect current best practice
