POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Clinical Research Project Assistant is a key member of the Research Staffing Core within the Clinical Research Centre. They work closely with the Clinical Research Coordinator, Manager and/or Principal Investigator to assist in study operations.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain informed consent
- Prepare and submit documents for ethics approvals
- Conduct telephone interviews
- Conduct health chart reviews
- Assist with advance preparation for audits and site visits
- Perform data management including checking data for accuracy and completeness, scoring data, entering data and data cleaning
- Phone subjects to confirm appointments or follow-up on study requirements
- Prepare study case report forms and assemble packages of questionnaires
