POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Clinical Research Project Assistant is a key member of the Research Staffing Core within the Clinical Research Centre. They work closely with the Clinical Research Coordinator, Manager and/or Principal Investigator to assist in study operations.

• Obtain informed consent
• Prepare and submit documents for ethics approvals
• Conduct telephone interviews
• Conduct health chart reviews
• Assist with advance preparation for audits and site visits
• Perform data management including checking data for accuracy and completeness, scoring data, entering data and data cleaning
• Phone subjects to confirm appointments or follow-up on study requirements
• Prepare study case report forms and assemble packages of questionnaires
