Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Clinical Services Administrator in Palmerston North to assist our Childhood Immunisation and Clinical Services team to be available for the following:
- You will have the flexible and availability to complete evening work (6pm – 8pm) and weekend work (Sat/Sun) as and when required
- Full clean Driver’s Licence
- Willing to undertake CPR Training (1 day of training)
- Confident contacting people over the telephone
Confident in using MS Office Suite and learning new systems – Eg. Practice Management System (PMS)High level of confidentiality and excellent telephone manner
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Work alongside the Immunisation Nurses to identify patients eligible to receive their childhood immunisation
- Support the wider Clinical Services Team with tasks such as referral management, supporting group programmes and general administration support
- You will be provided with a laptop and mobile phone to telephone, check, record and book childhood immunisations, all from a database (ideally, you’ll make calls during the day but mostly after hours to reach people (as such, you will need a home internet connection, but you’ll be provided with all the necessary tools))
- Inform people of upcoming immunisation clinics, book immunisations, assist with administration, assist with on-site clinics/ attend home & remote visits – you will work with an Immunisation Nurse
