About the role
The Learning and Teaching Directorate Transition to Practice team support novice (graduate) learners (Nursing (EN and RN), Midwifery and Allied Health) in their transition period in employment in our public health service. As a Clinical Support Nurse in our team you will work with the novice learners, to support their growth, competence and confidence in their roles.
About You
You will contribute to support in the clinical area, recruiting, debriefing, comprehensive induction programs, study days, clinical assessments and delivering feedback.
The CSN role with the Learning and Teaching team provides a strong link to further support Eastern Health as a welcoming and safe learning environment for novice learners.

Responsibilities:

Current and condition free registration with the NMBA
Demonstrated commitment to Learning and Teaching
Post Graduate qualifications (desirable)
Evidence of recent acute clinical experience
Experience in supporting and teaching novice learners
Well-developed interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a diverse team
Strong commitment to high quality patient care
