Clinical Support Representative, Sports Medicine - WA

Reporting to our Regional Sales Manager SPM, the key objective of this role is to provide clinical support, and undertake training activities, for products and services to customers within the hospital environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide outstanding clinical support to customers on products; maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Support surgical procedures on a range of products on an ‘as required’ basis.
  • Handle the clinical training and in-servicing schedule in alignment with the sales strategy.
  • Improve operating efficiencies including management of surgeon preferences and integration of warehouse and customer service initiatives.
  • Ensure the appropriate execution of the shared calendar.
  • Provide support in the capacity of a Territory Manager if required.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Prior orthopaedics theatre nursing experience
  • Proven experience in a similar clinical support role in surgical devices, ideally in orthopaedics
  • Physiotherapy background may also be considered
  • Good understanding of the operating theatre environment and surgical procedures.
  • Good understanding of the Australian public and private healthcare system
  • Extensive understanding of orthopaedic products and industry - technical terminology and clinical knowledge
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Highly passionate about exceeding customer expectations
  • Attention to detail and committed to excellence.
  • Outstanding problem solving skills.
