An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse with outstanding leadership skills to join our team at our Elmwood facility in Napier.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in a similar role or senior nursing experience with strong leadership ability looking to step up;
- A current annual practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand;
- Skills and experience in older health, dementia and palliative care;
- InterRai trained;
- Empathy and patience with elderly residents;
- Outstanding communication skills;
- A friendly and professional manner;

Responsibilities:
As Clinical Team Leader, you will support our clinical team to deliver top level care to our residents.
Reporting to our Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operational guidance and coordination of the nurses and care staff. You will support the smooth running of our clinical functions and provide developmental support to our team as we strive for excellence in care.
This role is 72 hours per fortnight (0.9 FTE) with occasional weekend shifts required. You will also be required to participate in the shared on-call.
