Description:
Undertake diary management for clinicians, as required ensuring that conflicting and amended appointments are actioned appropriately To undertake office duties and general administration including message management, dealing with telephone calls and enquiries, production of documents, typing and audio typing, photocopying, collating of documents and electronic filing Provide operational support to colleagues. To collect and maintain accurate team information with regards to training undertaken, Clinical Supervision and any other database Responsible for ensuring that accurate work is completed within the time limits and standards set To work effectively both independently and as a team member Inputting and updating patient information and team activity on computerised information systems, creating patient notes where necessary and according to policy. Undertake training of new staff as directed by Line Manager and/or other managers. Facilitate meetings including venue booking, refreshments, producing and circulating agendas, recording attendance and accurate minute taking To ensure medical records are electronically filed in line with Information Governance procedures To deal with requests and enquiries and forward them to the relevant team member Resolve or signpost queries from patients, carers, internal departments, and external agencies as appropriate To monitor and order stock and non-stock items as required Booking courses, accommodation, and travel requests as and when required Responsible for own Mandatory Training requirements To work flexibly and provide cover as directed by Line Manager for other members of the team in their absence and assist with their workloads as necessary and undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required Support the team by managing the clinical email account
