You will also have:

• Experience working as a clinical trial coordinator
• Demonstrated experience of project managing complex clinical trials.
• Previous experience in medical, nursing, public health or clinical research with a diabetes focus (diabetes educator desirable)
• Co-ordination of clinical trial processes including developing and executing standard operating procedures, completing multi-layered ethics submissions, regulatory submissions, addition and removal of sites, ICH-GCP requirements) to meet the standards and compliance obligations for clinical research and reporting agencies.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. ABOUT THE ROLE

The Clinical Trial Project Coordinator will assist in coordinating the FlashGM Study, an NHMRC-funded national clinical trial assessing continuous glucose monitoring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with type 2 diabetes. Reporting to Prof Elif Ekinci and the Trial Manager, the Coordinator will support project coordination across 20+ trial sites, requiring experience in clinical trials, project management, and a commitment to health equity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that trial documentation (standard operating procedures, ethics, annual reports) reporting meets the standards and compliance obligations for clinical research and reporting agencies.
• Providing project level support to clinical trial sites across urban, rural, regional and remote parts of Australia.
• Providing research project updates in a timely manner to the Trial Manager and Prof Elif Ekinci.
• Providing executive support to the trial committees.
